Nezasa is a Swiss TravelTech scale-up with offices in Zurich, Lisbon, and Santiago de Chile that empowers travel brands all over the world. Our SaaS solution combines all planning and booking related actions into one seamless end-to-end experience.
As our Engineering Manager for Software Development, you will ensure that the software development process of Nezasa works as smoothly and efficiently as possible. You are key to our operational excellence in Engineering and shape both organization and processes accordingly.
For this position, we are looking for an experienced software engineering leader with a hands-on engineering background.
Job requirements
As Nezasa’s Engineering Manager for Software Development you will…
Be responsible for the overall software development process including deployments and infrastructure changes as well as monitoring and ensuring compliant operations
Work with product management to plan a feasible roadmap
Instill best practices for software development and documentation and deliver high-quality work according to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Support teams in prioritization and planning as well as with internal and external stakeholder management
Coordinate incident management within Engineering and with Customer Success
Place a focus on the development of your direct reports (Scrum Masters) and participate in the the recruitment process also for Software Engineers
You have...
A university degree in computer science or a closely related field
5+ years of experience leading software engineering teams as well as hands on software engineering experience
Excellent people skills with a knack for listening to effectively coach, mentor and give feedback to drive your people’s performance
Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken)
